Bilbo's Birthday!
Challenge Details
In honor of Bilbo's birthday, HASA is asking for short stories that fill in some gaps in his illustrious life.
Bilbo went to Dale after his Farewell Party and before he took up residence in Rivendell. Write a short scene describing something about that second trip to Erebor. It can be *anything*.
Suggestions:
- Going over the pass.
- Walking through Mirkwood.
- Did he see Beorn again?
- What does he think of the new King Bain of Dale?
- Does he pay a call on Thranduil?
- Is Gandalf along?
If you have an alternative story you wish to write -- write it! These are just suggestions to get the creative juices flowing. All we want are some great Bilbo gapfillers!
