A deceptively simple challenge that can go so many ways. Let's say the Rohirrim were half an hour to an hour later to the Pelennor. What would their delay do to the overall events? Fro example:
What happens at the destroyed gate, when the Witch King meets Gandalf?
What happens on Rath Dínen?
Will the Enemy enter the first circle of Minas Tirith?
What happens to Éowyn? Théoden? Merry?
This story may be of any length, though it will probably be a few chapters long. You may write it as a drama, action, poem, romance - whatever genre appeals. You may hold tightly to the canonical plot, or may range off into wild AU. It can be bookverse or movieverse. OCs are allowed. The challenge is open for nine months.
