Challenge Details
Here is a Challenge for authors and readers alike!
For each story posted to this challenge, readers pledge to donate a certain amount of money, up to a total amount the reader determines. Each story written for the challenge will be featured on HASA's home page.
Authors, here are the rules for stories:
- It must be a new story
- It must be 500 words or more in length
- It is posted exclusively to HASA in May while the Challenge runs
That's it! Your choice of topic, characters and genre. You can even post a WIP as long as it meets the 500 word length. There are a few old Nuzgûl we suggest using as prompts to story ideas, but feel free to come up with your own:

Readers, here are the rules for pledging:
- The pledge is per completed story posted to the Challenge
- A minimum of $1.00 per story
- No minimum on the total amount you're willing to pledge
- Every dollar pledged will be matched by HASA's Secret Admirer
The challenge starts May 1 and runs through May 31. Home page display will start when there are three entries in the Challenge. Authors, reward our readers with a great story. Readers, reward our authors with a pledge.
