2. Author's Notes
As mentioned in the summary, this is an unofficial missing scene from plasticChevy's The Captain and the King. Obviously, if you are familiar with the original, this scene will make much more sense to you. I also encourage everyone to read Chevy's sequel, available over at FanFiction.Net, entitled The Steward's Tale.
It's important that I stress this as being an unofficial rendition of Boromir and Gil's first night. Chevy has said that she has a similar scene already "in the works" - and so when that's posted, it'll obviously be the official version. All we know, as of now, is that Gil - who is Boromir's squire at the time of The Steward's Tale - will eventually marry Boromir and bear him three children (Caladmir, Estellas and Merilin). This is speculation as to what the "first night" might have been like. I have left the years they have known each other and the age of Boromir intentionally vague - since I don't know what Chevy has in mind; when, exactly, they do get together.
So yeah, I hope you enjoy, and read the original! It's awesome.
