Fell and Fair
26. Mid-October 3021
"I am going to drag your sorry Sindarin ass to the sparring fields and beat you bloody!"
Slowly Celeborn shifts his gaze towards me — eyes vacant — and stares absently through the branches where I sit.
Finally, some response! The first since his link with the Lady severed.
Sighing, I return the golden-ripe pear to my belt pouch, again failing to tempt him with the lush fragrance. "Maybe tomorrow, my stubborn friend."
I jump down to assume my new post on a lower limb of his retreat, encouraging the mallorn to hum in reassurance to Celeborn that he is not alone.
