Exile's Hope

She had known his true name even before marrying him.


Yet she married him, nonetheless, for F?riel was many things, but never a coward, and if the fates of the D?nedain could ever be altered by her choice, she had to give it a try. Unexpected was the way men's hearts harden, how ears once attentive refuse to listen.

Well. If she could not change the D?nedain, she would do her best for the one--weary, hardened, frightened, haunted by an undeserved fate, victim of a wrong choice not of his making.

Last King.
