PS - In answer to a private question, yes, you may submit a birthday present story as a fundraising challenge entry, too, as long as it meets the other rules of having to do with The Hobbit (book or movie), is 500 or more words in length, and is posted first and exclusively to HASA for the month of January.

My story "My Dinner With Bert, Tom and Bill" is now entered into this challenge- I hope folks like it.

I've entered "Estel bookending Dwarves"

Not a very good title so please suggest a better one, but it is up there.

Yay, another entry! And a story that manages to be both sweet and chilling.

It does need a little better name. Keep "Estel" with the double meaning of our favorite Ranger and of hope, because both are part of the story, but not sure what else to use for the title.
