Discussing: Singular of crebain?

Singular of crebain?

Hi!

Does anyone know what the singular form of crebain (crows) is?

And if so, is there a source where JRRT uses it?

I'm guessing that it's something like craban, but I'm sooo not a Sindarin expert...

I'd appreciate any help you can give... thank you!

Re: Singular of crebain?

Hi everyone,

Of course, as soon as I finally asked for help, I found the answer....

The singular of crebain is indeed craban, according to the Hisweloke Sindarin dictionary, which I believe to be a credible source.
