It doesn't quite fit any of the specific prompts, but I've entered 'Stargazing' for the challenge.  Elrohir and young Estel discuss the legend of Earendil.

Hi Jay -
oh, this story is (almost) perfect for prompt # 9, and maybe it's even more interesting to hear about how Elrohir talks about Eärendil than Elrond. What an original setting and what a wonderful moment this story captures :-).

Yes, that's the best fit for the challenge, even if it's not exact.  I didn't think anyone would mind :>)

This was a pleasant, cosy moment between brothers, and a pleasure to write.  When Elrohir was telling the story, it was interesting to think that he was speaking of his grandfather.
