2006 Birthday Drabbles
RiverOtter's 2006 Birthday Presents: 4. An incident in Lorien by Ranger 1
The concerned looking Elf led Legolas to the clearing, pointed. Two familiar looking Hobbit heads stuck out of some bushes while a familiar Hobbit lay beside them gasping. The Elves exchanged words. Legolas approached.
“Frodo, the Galadhrim saw you, are you ill?”
Frodo could only wheeze. The head that looked like Sam replied, “We were trying to cheer Mr. Frodo up by rollin down this hill. We didn’t know the bushes had thorns”
Pippin’s head added, “We managed to get tangled in the branches.”
“Should we get Merry, Can he help?”
“That’s alright, I’m here.” Two familiar looking hairy feet kicked out of the pile.
Frodo started laughing again. Legolas held it together long enough to explain what was happening.
Later, Aragorn wandered across three Hobbits burying several hysterical Elves and Frodo in Mallorn leaves.
