Description:A Númenórean unit of distance slightly longer than a yard, about 38 inches (96.5 cm). Two rangar, the equivalent of 6’4 (1.9 m), was often referred to as ‘man-high.’ Elendil the Tall was apparently more than ‘man-high’ by half a ranga, putting him well over seven feet! (2.28 m)
