Missing Bookmarks
- Are you using your regular computer and browser? Bookmarks are cookie based. This means they are specific to a certain browser on a single machine. If you want all your favorites to always be available, please sign up for the HASA Readers Club (it's fast and free!) and store your list in the HASA database.
- Look at the last story listed. Does it usually have a comma in its name? Unfortunately, there is a bug in how cookies are read which makes the web page stop when it hits a comma in the name. To read the list on this page, you must remove the problem story. You can always add it back to the bookmark list.
- HASA Members (Readers Club and Writers Workshop) - Click the "Add to Bookshelf" button to store the story on your Bookshelf, then click "Clear" to remove the problem story from the list.
- Non-members - Your only option is to click "Clear" to remove the problem story from the list.
- All readers - Be sure to click "Refresh" to view the new cookie contents.
- How many bookmarks do you have? You can only store 50 bookmarks at a time. You may need to remove some to add more. If you are a Readers Club member, you can store an unlimited number of stories in the database, and then use your library pages to manage a "Quick Access" bookmark list - just put the ones you are currently reading in bookmarks and away you go!
Remember - refresh your page after removing bookmarks.
