Even the hardiest of Rangers has a soft spot. Featuring Aragorn, Halbarad, and a somewhat vicarious Gilraen, this little fic was written as a tribute to one of Tolkien's greatest mother figures. Angsty and dark, but I like to think that there's hope at the end.
