Hello, Aeneid,
I really enjoyed your portrayal of Iorlas, and of his memories of the Houses and of the time just after the Ring War was won. You had such a clear description of the brilliance that seemed to light everything once peace was won, I felt I could see the "sparkle" myself. The exchange between the unnamed healer and Iorlas did a very nice job of highlighting the changes between children of the Ring War, and children born in a time of peace. And I loved the relationship between Iorlas and his family. You showed so much in that short snippet at the end. :)
This story serves as a great lead-in to the next two in the trio that you and Aliana wrote, but also stands very well on its own. Thank you for sharing this!
