Book Two of The Paths of the King.
When Aragorn is reluctant to accept his inheritance, Gilraen believes her son has been overly influenced by his Elvish family at Imladris and takes him home to the Angle to meet some of her colorful relatives. There he must face the his future as chieftain of the Dúnedain and his mother must face her ghosts from the past..
