General Comment

Karri, this is one of those rare stories that takes a new spin on canon. Tolkine heavily suggests that Gimli left Middle-earth, but you made me be able to accept the alternative here, at least for the duration of the story. And masterful job of carrying their relationship to its natural conclusion, with Legolas understanding dwarves and Gimli elves better than either would have thought possible (or even have wanted, on some level). Well done.
