Story Summary

A girl of the Rohirrim is taken by captive by Dunlendings. A tie-in with my stories "Eclipsed by the Moon" and "As the Tide by the Moon". All OCs; mention of Erkenbrand and young Eowyn, but only in passing.
Disturbing themes - please let me know if it's too disturbing, and I'll change it to adult.

General Comment

I quite enjoyed this. It did have a Cosette-ish element that sneaks into a lot of stories about OFCs, but the premise was both believable and original, AND Eledher didn't end up saving the world or marrying Aragorn - she just did her part in her little piece of the world.
The writing in the first few paragraphs was excellent. It became a bit rougher as the story progressed, but overall remained of a high calibre.

I'm bookmarking this so I can read it again when I can't find any other good stories about OCs.

General Comment

I have to admit, I like traumatic backstories, though I know they're often overdone. :) Having said that, I'm especially glad it came across as both believeable and realistic. Thank you!
