+This was delightful!I can just imagine Bilbo missing his cat and her comfortable presence.

Maybe their looking after the cat,was why Drogo and primula's son was chosen as Bilbo's heir!

Oh, I really like this!

I always shuddered when I read that passage in The Hobbit -- despite Tolkien's light tone, aimed at children, he made the beasts of Mirkwood, especially the spiders, sound really creepy....

And for someone who's afraid of the dark, it must have been absolutely terrifying! No wonder Bilbo felt out of his league....

But I loved the contrast of his comforting thoughts about his dear kitty at home!

Nicely done!
