Story Summary
The decline and fall of the smallest of the Dunedain kingdoms of Arnor, as described in the memoirs of a soldier and descendant of minor nobility.
I have always been fascinated by what the story might have been behind the menacing ruins glimpsed from the East Road by Frodo and Bilbo before him as they passed through on their way to Rivendell. This is my own attempt to fill in the blanks in the canon, in what is hopefully a credible and realistic way. This is my first attempt at a fanfic, so any feedback or constructive criticism will be very welcome.
