Hey ho! Coal and charcoal, fuel the forges!
Hey ho! Pump the bellows, feed the fire!
Hit the metal while it’s hot,
Strike your hammer!

Hey ho! Feel the stone, smoothly, gently!
Hey ho! Carve the granite, core the rock!
Chisel, punch and bow-drill,
In our hands you sing!

Hey ho! Light the lamps, in the deep we go!
Hey ho! Shovel faster, search for precious ore!
Diamonds, mithril, sapphires, gold,
The fruits of deep we harvest!
