2. If This Be a Dream

Written for Valentine's Day...the voice was originally supposed to be Arwen's but could be almost any lover speaking, I guess...... ~*~If This Be A Dream~*~ If this be a dream then it is a good dream. What garden but your love could cradle the groping, rebellious roots of my being? What rain but your kisses could coax the perfume from my aching core? What sun but your face could melt my blossoms into fruit? What lightning but your name could shock my juices into glory? Shine, cradle, rain, shock.... your elements are my rest and my light!
