He doesn't seem the least affected by those horrible voices! Can it be he's not afraid? Sam was right; we've got some stout folk with us, but he was wrong not to include the Elf. He's as much a warrior as Boromir, or Strider. But a much older one. And purer... or wilder, somehow... I wouldn't say handsome... perhaps beautiful. Even that seems inadequate. He's simply different... Better, maybe.The howls chill my blood a bit less, to look at him, take in his light and know he is here with us, standing by with his bow at the ready.
