6. Moss Agate

The world swims before me in shades of blue and green and grey.

Once upon a time I knew colour, knew beauty, knew life

Now all I know as blue and green and grey.

My world is drowned, and I forget how, forget why.

 I care not.

My only care is for my Ring, for my Master.

If I do his bidding, then perhaps he will grant me another glimpse of it.

A little voice in the back of my head tells me my Ring is ugly- a lump of mouldy cheese upon a dull iron band…

 I care not
