Hi Iel,

I'm not giving anything away to say that the pregnancy goes well and Finduilas has a normal and safe delivery. The POV shifts to Denethor from now until just after the baby's birth, so we get to deal with his problems.

I'm glad you liked the chapter. Given all the grief and frustration Denethor and Finduilas have had to deal with up until now, there is going to be a lot of happiness for a while.

I just got back from a trip to Israel... well, a little while ago, but I have been catching up on life around here. Lucky me-- I got to read four chapters in one sitting! What a treat! I should go away more often. :) I'm still reading and still loving the story, so don't get discouraged! Love, love, love it. You should write professionally... I'd buy your book! Do I get a signed copy?

I like the emotions and such descriptive scenes that don't seem like you are describing them. I'm thinking the baby thing won't work out, seeing that it'll be another four years before Boromir... and I think there is more to Thorongil's drinking than happiness. Where is my river bathing scene? I've been patiently waiting... and yet, here I sit, without any good Thorongil material to drool over. :P I also like how Mr. Poison's scenes were handled, very realistic and... just good all around. Also, Fin getting to preen at the evil cat lady... good stuff. More updates!

Glad I could provide you such a nice welcome home present. :) You are entirely too kind in your praise. I'm not thinking of writing professionally - I'm happy being a geek with a fanfic fetish. When I am 100% done with HotK, I am considering creating a single PDF version of it. That, alas, will be a while.

Boromir is born in 2978 - maybe you are thinking of Faramir, who is born in 2983? Well, yes, there is a little more to Thorongil's drinking, but that's the biggest reason. He loves them both and is truly, honestly happy that they are having a baby. He's not one to hold a grudge.

I don't have a river bathing scene to offer, though there will be other adventures. Beware of Maiaberiel. She has was of getting even. I'm writing as fast as I can!

Perhaps the first child was a female, but this should be Boromir.  And love seeing our Thorongil being starkly honest about his condition!  Heh!
