Phew! Anglachel - brilliant chapter. So much happens every time the characters touch each other, whether in person or just by word of mouth. And Ecthelion is a surpise....

What is offered Luinmir is indeed cruelty of the worst sort, and it seems a most uncomfortable summer for all at the moment. But she does finally draw the Captain out, and at last gains the confession of her husband....
And the baby's first word is for her! In spite of all, this would be joyful!
