Oh my gosh! I can't believe no one has commented on this story! I stumbled on it accidentally while trying to figure out to spell Aglarond and it wasn't only Legolas who wept for the beauty of the place. I could SO see this in my mind's eye as they passed a king's throne and a basin that mirrored Galdriel's eyes - what a stunningly intricate word picture you've painted here. Absoutely gorgeous.
But more than that, the deep affection and trust shared by the Elf and the Dwarf came through equally powerfully and beautifully. I'll be wandering back into the archive to see what else I can find by you, Erinrua!
