Ch. 1: In a beautiful pea-green boat
I like the 'Featured Story' slot - it brings me wonderful stories I've never seen before!
I like this poem, but I've always thought poor Beruthiel had a very bad press - perhaps Tolkien didn't like cats? Tarannon always seemed cruel to me.
I really liked this line: 'They studied and twisted, surmised and inferred
And into the ear of the Queen they were purred.' It sounds so sinister.
