General Comment

Hi, Ang - had a great time readin this while rejoicing in the gift you have given us of this great comments section!!  You should receive a medal!!!!

Some favorite lines -

Ducking under the wooden topped preparation

ruffled his hair

Sam snagged two lovely bunches of grapes and a double handful of apples.

glad that there was at least one elf who understood the need for a solid meal.

through the leg forest.
 
his eyes lit up and his stomach growled at the smells rising from the canvas bag.

One small correction - I think -

Reaching a high as he could,   I think you meant - reaching AS high as he could.

Loved the tale - Sam is a favorite.  And I can't wait to read more.

General Comment

Some times you want a story that isn't grand and glorious- just extremely well-crafted. Warm and cosy as the Homely House itself, this is one of those stories- bravo, author!
