Amazing. I read this a while ago and ran across it by accident tonight. It's even better than I remembered.

"Curufinwe is the father-name of Curufin and Feanor both. Your guess as to whom Maedhros means is as good as mine." I'm so opinionated--I want him to be Feanor, because of the phrase "no one can mimic genius."
