This is one of the best fanfics I've ever read: well-drawn characters, good background, lots of lovely little details - and an amazing, heart-breaking lovestory.
I read it first a year or so ago, it was one of the first fanfics I came across, and I had not dared hope, upon re-reading it, that it would be as good as I remembered. I was right, it wasn't: it was better!
Why no more readers have commented on this beautiful story, I do not know; perhaps they feel, like I, that it is impossible to find the right words to convey how much they loved it.

Great beginning chapter. I love how you brought in the different characters and the scene setting - very good.
I particularly likd the pace of the first part.

This story set against the backdrop of the defense by the Galadhrim of their enclave against the return of the Shadow to Dol Guldur has all of the fundamentals of great story telling. Its excellent character development, compelling plot and expansion of key elements of canon all come together to create a unforgettable and unique environment. Great read!
