"Water and Stone" is such an great story. Its view of Elves, and particularly the Galadhrim, is amazingly imagined. The canon and original characters are wonderfully developed. Contains one the best young Aragorns I have read. The creation of believable customs and daily life are truly impressive. I had read it some time ago, but recently a friend gave me a print-out of the entire novel she had made, thinking I would appreciate it, so I read it again and was, if anything, better than I remembered.
