Way! Faramir takes on the evil paperwork!
Seriously, it is well thought out in terms of how MT was suffering still after the war, when a whole year of agriculture in the Pelenor had been missed out.
Overall, though, it made me :D

This is a wonderful vignette that is common to many of us, I'm sure. Here is Faramir, heavily burdened by his responsibilities as Steward, to the point where the paperwork is boring and overwhelming. Then enters something new, totally unrelated to his work, something challenging, bringing hope of love and joy. And lo and behold, this gives him the incentive to attack his work as Steward and GET THINGS DONE -- even though his ride with Eowyn does not depend upon finishing his paperwork.
Well done! -- I'm waiting for something of this nature myself, to give me the energy to get back to MY paperwork!

Thanks, Eilenach. :) My own work-life was a generous source of inspiration.
