All I can say is that this is such a sad story... The ideas about Beruthiel and her life are so unique and original. When I finished this, I couldn't help but pity Beruthiel, even though this is just an idea and fanfiction, but very good fanfiction.

I read this originally at ff.net, but I'm glad to have the chance to comment here. At the archives that do not let me be plain 'Jael' I post under the name of Jael Beruthiel, because of my own 11 cats, so I found this story especially moving.
Cats get a raw deal in the writings of Tolkien, and so did this lady. Thank you for providing an alternate view.
