I'm sitting here quite awed. This is completely who Legolas is--down to every last detail. The whispering of thanks, the reminder of light, the simile of his land remaining dark....it's beautifully crafted. And it portrays a character that is truly strong. Psychologically, it works--something I find lacking from many fanfics. Wonderfully done!
