Hi, Chris,
I just happened upon "Wainriders" and wanted to tell you that I enjoyed it very, very much. The whole interplay between the couple was marvelous, especially the emphasis on their friendship and the wife's reflection on how laughing together has an intimacy of its own. I also loved how you worked the soon-to-be named unborn son into their discussion, and how he seemed to respond to them. (Very accurate from this mother's perspective.)
I had never before made the connection between the Adrahils in Dol Amroth's history, and found this a very plausible reason for the second Adrahil being named as he was. Thank you for sharing this!
