Loved it! Neat fantasy! If only all canon characters could pop up and defend themselves--well, as long as it is my version of canon they are defending! (e.g., Boromir is not stupid, Eomer is not a lout, Legolas is not "cute" and goofy, Faramir is not a wimp, Glorfindel is not a silly fop, and I am certain, given that he was raised in Rivendell, Aragorn bathed whenever he could.) I could go on and on, but I guess I had better stop before I trample on too many other dearly held opinions of the canonical.
