I like this. Its subtle wording about a powerful subject. Whenever I see Celebrimbor on a character list, I have to read it because he's one of my faves and such a tragic story. I really like that you wrote about Legolas sensing his ghost. Alot like the Dead Marshes and the Paths of the Dead still had spirits lingering, I imagine some of the elves lingered in Eregion since some of them had the Noldo curse which I imagine would leave some of them lost and/or lingering there.

Understatement is the key to brilliance. I think you've got it.
I really like the way you've used this phrase: "This was Hollin that once was Eregion." It's very powerful...I might be wrong, but is this direct from the book?
