When I read your stories, my faith in humankind is restored. They are simply awesome, you write so well, and I believe, master Tolkien himself would not object.
What do YOU get from writing stories so elegant, interesting, well-paced and intelligent?
Most certainly you are no dwarf, giving us wonderful gifts without expecting anything back - and all we can offer are few praises in comment-box.

What do YOU get from writing stories so elegant, interesting, well-paced and intelligent?
Um, I suffer from a not uncommon problem among writers: I have a hard time finding things I can read with unalloyed enjoyment. So I amuse myself by writing what I'd like to be reading. If you and others enjoy the stories as well, that is icing on the cake.
