Whew! This was not at all what I expected when I imagined where your tale would take Gandalf... but it seems entirely fitting. And of course, leaves so much potential for the future... I'm so glad you found a very clever way to rid your much changed and darker Middle Earth of another wizard, as well! Very nice... looking forward, as always, to much much more. Aiwendiel

Glad you enjoyed these chapters.
Gandalf is still in an unpleasant position, and yes, I do have plans for him... 
As for the other, I suspect he's not going to enjoy explaining himself (a scene which probably falls outside the scope of this story, but if inspiration strikes it might work as a spin-off).
Looking at 34, that character will at least play some further role in events...
