Okay, last one tonight. The autumness of the surroundings, the cree cree of the hawk, the moments of cold dread on a hilltop, followed again by the shining warmth of the sun on an old, yet ageless, wizard - a gorgeous word picture that drew me right in to the painting and made me part of it.
Gandalf's inner dialogue was fascinatingly insightful, and again, rendered with the precision of a master juggler; not one ball came down wrong.
