Ch. 1: Blood as Warm as a Bird
Finally: a story that offers a valid explanation for Elwing's choice.
The gull theme was a lovely touch; seen through the eyes of a child, it makes perfect sense.
So much fear and madness that day, and yet a glimpse, a promise of hope towards the end.
