Ch. 43: Not By The Hand Of Man
Another fab chapter- I love the way you weave canon and AU together. The bit with Eowyn and Eomer is wonderful and it seems there is a tally of losses and gains- we lose Eomer and keep Halbarad, for example- it all weighs in the balance. Fabulous writing.

Wonderful chapter! Two highlights, for me: Merry's (unfulfilled) impulse to wave to the Haradrim warrior, and the Witch King's end. Unexpected, and exquisite - a welcome moment of humor in a very grim account.

I enjoyed this one very much. Are we two or three wraiths down at this point? I fear I've lost count! And love that the oliphaunts themselves know the deed accomplished by one of their kind! Excellent!
