That Aragorn visited Faeron is expected, though no less touching - but equally touching was Mablung's theft, a gentle gift to Faramir, and Halbarad's needlework as he took up where Arwen left off on Aragorn's banner. Humble but wonderful acts of fealty and love.

I rejoice that Pippin goes with them after all, and that Halbarad will see the last stitches finished on the banner. But so much unfamiliar grief is there in this. I do rejoice that Faeron was able to see the King Returned before he died, and that he rejoices to know his son lives. And I do rejoice that Denethor acquitted himself so well in this version!
Now--to see how the final battles go.
