You see that's what I mean. The fact that Sam DOES eat a whole lembas, and it is the same as canon in the things that Frodo sees- I love that detail
The dream is anothe rmasterstoke (sorry- my comments are getting boringly repetitive!) And just as I started wondering where we arein time, you told me, and then just as I started wondering how this is going to end without Golum, you throw me a line. And that rope is damned useful! I have a sneaky feeling it's going to be needed again before the end!

They've made it thus far, and have just about the same rations as they had in canon. And the Ring is doing Its best to draw Frodo away from his needed help. Now, to see how they handle the way. And I rejoice that Gandalf could still laugh!
