Wonderful chapter - seems to really flesh out the characters and some possible hints about where it's all going. I get the distinct feeling that 'Leona' is really rather enjoying all this, although he seems to be warming to Lothiriel too. Slowly ... of course.
I'm impressed as well by Lothriel's knowledge of birds and particularly edible plants - always useful when you end up kidnapping the wrong man and end up having to rough it in the wilds!
