Ooh, wonderful chapter again, the tension is really building up! And not just in terms of action ...
What a lovely tender moment that was, when 'Leona' and Lothiriel have that embrace. Really well written. And then to add that sense of fear with the men following them ... phew. I think Lothiriel is finally beginning to realise that her plan will have serious consequences, not just by causing great distress to her family but also by putting herself in danger.
Also love the way you describe the environment, animals etc - makes it very easy to imagine what is all looks like.
I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
