This chapter had it all - humour, tension, adventure, romance ... I loved it!
That was indeed a very clever trick to evade being caught, and I think you did this with a great deal of humour.
I'm really sorry you've strained your hand, and I hope it's not too painful for you. All my best wishes for a speedy recovery.
