Ch. 10: In the Wind from the Sea
I love the vignette of Legolas with his father; I feel for his fears for his family all through these stories, ever since Saruman played with his mind so horrifically.
I think I, too, would be fascinated by your Legolas' tattoos.

Wonderful image of Legolas in the crows-nest, leaning out into the air - I can see him there and smell the salt and the spray! And I loved the description of him sliding at breakneck speed back down the rigging.
I do like the lightheartedness and the mercuriality and teasing of your Legolas - that seems exactly right to me; but then so does his innate kindliness and compassion.
As for the scene in the cabin with Elrohir - mmmm. Gosh, it's warm in here all of a sudden. (You spoilsport, interrupting them like that!) And yes, like curiouswombat, I would love a closer look at those tattoos...
