Thank you:-) It's an interesting slice of story to examine - even if I still haven't answered whether Denethor deliberately sent his son on a doomed mission (too much of what goes on in here is strictly inside Faramir's head to answer that).

At least he has the consolation he's not perhaps dying to no good purpose. And Mithrandir's parting words are with him. I'm glad he's not alone at that moment, though.
