God, I love this. Eärendil doesn't get enough attention I love, I absoloutly love the idea of the twisted two-way Eärendil represents hope and courage. Every day he sails is his torment and if he stops he will bring torment to others.
I adore this idea how the Dagor Dagorath could happen, since LotR basically ended with the world being fine (but not perfect).

This is really beautiful. I love the way you fleshed out the character of Earendil, and the writing was lovely. Can I expect more of this work?
